****If you don't see our message in your inbox, don't panic.  These days, most email programs automatically block emails from unrecognized senders from your inbox unless you approve of the sender first.  So, in order to actually see the great info you're asking us to send you, you have to add us to your address book, safe sender list, or "whitelist."  You can "teach" your program to reognize and welcome our emails into your main inbox by following the instructions at the end of this email.

****Ensuring your email provider places our RelationTIPS! email newsletter into the right inbox: 
Gmail:  1) Locate the email in whichever folder Gmail placed it (you will usually finde it in the "Promotions" folder); 2) Move the email to your primary inbox by left-clicking and holding the email while dragging it from the "Promotions" tab over to the "Primary" tab.  Release the mouse and drop the email into your "Primary" tab. Once dropped, Gmail displays a yellow box that asks if you want to make this change permanent.  Click YES to ensure that all messages from Fortunes and Families appear in the Primary tab in the future. 2) Open the email in your inbox; 3) Hover over our name as sender; 4)Click "More" in the pop-up box; 5) Select "Add to contacts" to save the sender to your Contacts list.   
Yahoo: 1) Log into your account and click the "Options" link.; 2) Select "Mail Options" from the drop-down menu; 3) In the "Options" tab, select "Filters" from the left menu; 4) Click the "Add Filter" button in the top bar; 5) Type a name for your filter in the "Filter name" field; 6) Select "Contains" in the "sender" drop-down menu; 7) Type our email address in the "sender" text field; 8) In the "Move to Folder" drop-down menu, select "Inbox"; 9) Click the "Save Changes" butto in the top bar to save the filter.
Outlook 2003 (and higher): 1) Right-click on the message in your inbox; 2) Select "Junk E-mail" from the menu; 3) Click "Add Sender to Safe Senders List." 
AOL:  1) On the "Settings" page, select "Spam Settings." 2) Choose "Allow mail only from addresses I specify" on the drop-down menu; 3) Enter our sending address; 4) Click the "Add" button to add them to your sender list; 5) Click "Save" to save  your changes. 
Android: 1) Open the email in your Gmail app.  2) Tap the contact icon to the left of the sender's name and email address. 3) Tap "Ok" on the "Add to contacts" button 4) Tap on "Create new contact" at the top of your Contacts list. 5) Enter the sender's name in the "First name" field. 
iPhone: 1) Tap the sender's name in the "From" line; 2) On the next screen, tap "Create New Contact"; 3) On the third screen, tap "Done" to save the address.
Thunderbird: 1) Open the email message; 2) Click the blue star next to the sender's name and address to add them to your address book.
